I spent 10 hours on the water today, I put in at Uncertain. Lake Caddo is gone, too much salad. Don't waste your time on the Texas side. The only places to fish are in the boat lanes and pontoons and canoes are every where. This is a totally different lake than I remember from 10 years ago. I couldnt even see the main lake.

Idk if u don't have enough experience there or not but the lake has been on fire for over a month now. Matter of fact my buddy won a 70 boat benefit tourny out there today with 3 fish weighing 22.14 with a 9.79 kicker. He also lost another 8 plus. 2nd was over 18lbs. This is a 3 fish deal. The salvania is like this every year now this late in year. Fishing is great but the fish area in certain areas with that salvania. Just have to cover water around the edges of it. I've not been able to fish in 2 months due to my elbow ulnar nerve surgery but I'm sneaking out tomorrow. I'm 6 weeks post op.. I'll post on this tomorrow when I get done

Don't let Caddo fool you...been catching some nice fish! We surely need a frigid winter though to kill that giant salvina. It is really causing the lake to fish very small.

CADDO LAKE
It needs some high water to send some of it to the Red. Been catching 10-15 a day but the spots are hard to get to, been having to use a surface drive.

You would not want Caddos kind of salad if you saw some pics.
