Well the Texas Boy gets it done with a 1 oz Football Jig & Rage Craw against the best drop shotters in the country. Keith Combs catches 72 pounds of smallies on a big ole One Ton Jig! https://www.bassmaster.com/keith-combs/magical-week-mille-lacs I suppose the thing I love about bass fishing is that there are no absolutes. You think one day, you have them really dialed in. The next day your pattern evaporates. Sorry fellas, I just couldn't resist after all the talk about how effective finesse fishing is for big fish. Had to rub it in a bit. Now don't be offended. I am not bashing fairy wands. I am just saying as for me, I would PREFER to fish a big bait.

I love throwing a jig when they are biting it.
Strange to see you Ken in a boat with only a 200 hp motor on it. LOL

I have a new jig that I build Ken. I would like to get you a couple to put on the dinner table at The Bell. Give me a shout when you have time. I owe you lunch also.

I know for a fact they catch big bass.

I am a Senager. (Senior teenager) I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 50 years later. I get an allowance every month. I have PU truck and a bass boat, I am blessed. Conscience never acquits, it either accuses or excuses.

That's the kind you see on a bed and think 8lb but then pull out of the water and she's a 12!
