Hello all, new guy to the forum not to fishin, any of y'all know of any ponds near Forney/Terrel/Kaufman that are open to the public for bass fishing from the bank?

Don't know anything about Forney, but I assume Forney has some city parks that have ponds on them. If so, you can be pretty sure there will be bass, sunfish and catfish in them. I would start there.

Did I go to the right one looks like a hoa pond in the back of the neighborhood with a couple bridges

Sounds about right. Parking along street or swimming pool lot... walk the trail and find a spot to throw your line...last time i was there was back in march...

Caught anything there? Went to Myers in Rockwall started raining and got really windy my fluke disappeared grrr

I've used crappie jigs amd caught a few perch back in march. Just gotta walk along the banks and find them, im sure there catfish in there but i never caught. Caught bass before few years back using plastic worm.
