What do you carry when bank fishing?
What are you fishing for, and why have you chosen that setup?

I mainly go for bass while walking along small ponds and creeks. I carry a 6.5' medium action spinning rod with 10lb Trilene XL for bigger lures and a 5.5'light action spinning rod with 6lb XL for weightless rigs and 1/16th oz jigs.

If the bass aren't biting, I can switch to targeting bluegill or crappie with the smaller pole.

I use a cargo pocket and a S-biner on my belt loop to carry the spare rod, and my tackle is in a fanny pack.

What's your setup?

I've always wondered about those. I would be worried about a fish crossing the other lines and causing a big tangled mess.

I guess that's not really a problem?

I have been fishing this rig for years. There is at least 20-30 yards in between each hook. I rarely have tangles. Unless it is very very windy. Then it gets fun. Also the distance varies on each rod. Trust me it works great.

I usually carry 2 rods and a backpack of tackle. Both are baitcasters, one with 12lb fluro for cranks and lures like that. The other I have is 16lb braid with a leader for jigging or t-rigs.
