try my FILE" GUMBO jig.. mix a small amount of black into green chartruese powder paint. then tie some black chennille body and blue dunn feathers for the tail. the blue dunn is a grayish blue color.
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

AS far as my home no issues from ole Harvey... today was my 1st time on Lake Houston since the storm, the North end of the lake was like a new lake, there are several homes that are gone & some that were pushed against trees.... this was a neighborhood that had all wood frame homes... 80% of my waypoints on the north end will be deleted since the structure is no longer there.....I scanned/ recorded about 10 miles today, I'll end up with several new waypoints... If there is anyone here that feesh Lake Houston be prepared to change most of your routes, there are several sand bars that have shifted & where there were a few islands there isn't & where there were no islands in several areas there are islands....TAKE YOUR TIME, I FOUND SEVERAL VERY BIG TREES JUST UNDER THE SURFACE.... However the few spots I dropped a jig on produced some betty nice feesh.... water temp was 74 degrees.... Wanted to ease toward the south end but ran out of time.....

Ever fish Livingston for Crappie? No sir, I've never feeshed Lake Livingston....I hear it has some vey good crappie in it....
