More than impressed with Sarge's build... This is my first custom rod from anybody and I couldn't be happier with it. 6'6 The Priest, split cork, black recoils. We weighed it at the shop and it came out at 2.6oz and ~8.5oz with the Concept TX on it. He was also nice enough to send me home with 2 stickers for the boat and a Sarge buff. We talked for a good 10-15 mins and just by talking with him you could tell how much pride he takes in every single rod he builds and his love for what he does. It went from a little talk to him explaining how his whole operation works in the shop.. Lol. It was worth the hour and a half haul out there to talk with him and see how he runs his operation. More than pleased, and plan to get a Freebird or Wingman built for tops/corkies in the near future. Made himself a customer for life. Thanks again Sarge!
