Which units started to become networkable? Its not just the current G2N is it?

Also if you are just networking two units, do you just need one cable and the connectors on the end for each? No hub?

That is correct. Just the Ethernet cable and connectors if required. The hub is only required for 3 or more devices that are going to be networked

Ethernet networking has been a feature since March 2011 starting with the 700 HD models, 800 series, 900 series and 1100 series.

Current ones are first generation and G2N Helix 9, 10, and 12 series plus the Helix 7 G2N.


Helix 12 CHIRP MEGA SI+ GPS G3N and G4N, 1198c SI, SOLIX 10 SI G3,
Helix 8 MEGA SI+ GPS G4N, SOLIX 12 SI and G3, MEGA 360, MEGA LIVE TL, RC-1
