I Have a 2008 Bass cat trailer and I'm trying to up grade to new LED style with back-up lights. Will I have to rewire the trailer or is it a quick fix option ? Any information that some one can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If you didn't have backup lights before you will need to run a new wire from the truck backup lights to the new trailer lights.

I'm doing the same to my buddies champion... I've been told to wire up a 5 way flat plug to the trailer to accommodate the reverse lights. I got some of the LED lights from texbbq and put them on my truck, I can't wait to put some on the trailer... these lights are bright

Any information that some one can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Which Basscat do you have. I'm asking because the larger trailers have trailer brakes, which means the wire to connect the backup lights is already in place in the harness. If so, you will not have to rewire, just connect to existing wires. You will probably need to run a wire for the backup lights to connect to the blue wire of the harness at the front. John
