Nearly all of the spices I have for making Rubs are in the powdered form. I may want to order some spices that are in the seed and leaf form and will need a grinder at some point. Spices in there original state hold their flavors as compared to the ones already ground up. Do you have a spice grinder? I need ya'lls help with choosing one. Do I need one with "settings" to adjust for coarseness?

Yeppers, works great!

Morse and pestle for rub. You want it coarse/cracked not ground.

I've got the spice grinder I've had for 20 years that I have absolutely no clue who made it. I have the fine mortar and pestle for small spices like dried rosemary and the like. And I have the big molcajete for big stuff. And I have the food processor.
