We are holding the twice a month working man's T on Friday, Sept.1, 2017. $20 entry with an optional $5 big bass pot. It is taking over 5 lbs to win most of these Ts. 3 fish limit, so if you keep 3, one must be 18" or longer. Shotgun start at 6:30 with you being in line at the crappie dock BY 10:30. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at this PM, my e-mail address is thadrains@aol.com or 806-786-3766. ANY length on the 2 under fish. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

We had 8 anglers out on this beautiful evening and only 2 weighed fish. Sean Johnston won it with 2 for 3.59, 1 an 1.80 and 1 for 1.79. The LMB was teh 1.80 and was 18" long, the spot was shorter but fatter. He caught them on 1 cast with a Whopper Plopper. Didn't want the net until they were half way there then wanted the net because it got heavier. He was throwing braid and just lifted them into the boat before I got the net, but I had to get one of them in the bottom of the boat as it fell off the hook. One other guy showed up late and had a 1.38. I had 1 for about 1.25, but threw it back since we were only paying one place.
If you are in the area, please consider fishing this T as we are needing more anglers to make it competitive. We only have 3 left the rest of this year as we fish the 1rst and 3rd Friday of the month. We are trying to get more interested in fishing it. Hope this helps. OH, I caught mine on a yellow magic about 10 minutes after he caught his 2. I missed a big fish that pulled the reel handle out of my hand, but never hooked up. Such is life and fishing. Same 3/8's oz. YM. We were around a TON of shad balls and the fish were solid on the screen of the depth finder from top to bottom, feeding on the shad. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.
