Anyone use it? How is the flex in the tip? Good for skipping? I want to order one but I figured I'd ask here first.

Love mine. I have a couple and use them for all kinds of stuff. Never thrown a finesse jig on it though.

I personally find it to flimsy for anything but topwater or jerkbaits. It works really good for those though

This is one of the all time great finesse rods its MH fast so idk what skipper is talking about he must use a tuna rod for a t-rig. I own 2 of the finesse jig rods and heck might even buy another.

I have one. It's labeled a MH, but it's more like a "light" MH. Flexible tip...I've never skipped with mine, but I'm sure it would do good with lighter stuff. I use mine for light T-Rigs, weightless Comidas & flukes, and smaller topwaters & spinnerbaits.

I use mine for light T-Rigs, weightless Comidas & flukes, and smaller topwaters & spinnerbaits. +1 on it being a little light. Not your standard "jig" rod... But when you are throwing finesse jigs in tight spots and other baits already mentioned, it does the job. It being a 6'10 gives it an advantage on underhand roll casts for skipping that is hard to do with a long rod unless you play in the NBA. I will say I find myself using the Falcon 7'4 McClelland more before it went in the lake and the Amistad, but the length on those could have a negative effect on what you are looking to do and the Finesse jig rod might be the one for you. Good luck!

I have more than one and use it for many applications. It is a very versatile rod. great for weightless and smaller baits. Anytime I want to skip smaller baits this is the rod I use. It has good backbone for a lighter rod as well. I think between my son and i we have four of these rods.

I have 2 in the T7 Cara and 1 Lowrider. The Lowrider seems to be a little stiffer but the feel of the Cara is amazing. It is a very versatile rod in either configuration.
