So I had been avoiding tying with this material for a while now. I finally broke down, picked some up and tied a couple of San Juan worms with it last night. I took them out to a family friends stock tank today and now I wish I had done this sooner.

It's tough to try new stuff, but often worth it.

Sweet!!!! I saw the picture of them in the fly tying section. I go to the local tackle / fly shop every week and see the material. I guess I'll have to buy some now Did you watch a video on how to tie them? Great job on the tie and more importantly catching big sunfish on them

Thanks everyone. It was fun catching them.
I watched a few videos and combined a few elements from each. I used led wire for weight and then dubbed thread around it and the worm body. If you don't dub the thread to tie the body down the thread can cut in to the silicone body.
