I bought one of each this weekend and wondering if anyone else has fished either of them. They are both ridiculously light and cast like a dream. Does anyone have any experience with either of them?

Love all my metaniums, paired with NRX Rods lightest combo ever. Easy to dial in with the external cast control. I have a buddy with a steez reel made a few cast I prefer the MGL over the Steez.

Yes sir I made a few casts with the steez sv tw and the metanium mgl on the same rod same size line and pretty much the same adjustments on the reel, close as I could get it with the different cast control systems. They both cast about the same, with a slight edge to the steez as far as distance, slight edge as far as control and casting noise to the metanium. But I know what rods and techniques to use these reels for, they both have an equal place in my arsenal/rotation and wouldn't hesitate to buy either one of them again. Smoothest, most refined reels I've ever held in my hand......
