 Mixing Merc oil?

Previous owner said he used Merc synthetic oil but wasn't sure which. I'm guessing it's either premium plus, DFI/Optimiax oil or premium 2-cycle. I bought some Premium Plus but haven't used it yet. As far as I can tell Mercury says not to mix any oil with Merc racing oil. Am I good to go with putting Premium Plus in the reservoir with the curent oil in there?

I had intended to mix about a 150:1 ratio of the premium plus in with the fuel as a recommendation for injector lubrication so I figured I would use the same in the reservoir...?

I use DFI oil in my Opti Pro XS only.

I use premium plus in my Opti Pro XS only. DFI is too expensive and unnecessary but they want you to buy it and that's why they strongly recommend it.
