Going tomorrow and looking for ideas. My guess is timber and 25' of water.

Brush and timber in 15-20. Fish a natural colored jig and move fast. Don't be scared to tip it with a minnow chunk.

What timber? Never saw a stick. Fished the Malakoff area. I assume all the sticks are up north.
