Headed to joe pool after work today with my cousin whos in town from the navy havent been in over 10 yrs.any tips on where to find the crappie. Ill do my part and scan just need a general area or pointers .thanks in advance. Launching at state park

Standing timber in 15 to 20 ft of water off the main channel should work.

You might also try pinching a minnow in half and dropping it straight down on a 1/16 jig head.

Thanks epic, tried it cought only a few all were short then looked like we we going to get hit by the storm so we pulled out
