 Help wont run over 1/2 speed?

i bought a very clean 2008 pontoon with a 2008 Merc 2 stroke oil injected 50 hp motor.this boat has less than 30 operating hours.it sat a lot. it starts right up and runs great up to 1/2 speed and thats it just bogs down. only one time in 4 trips did it open up after i put sea foam and new plugs in it and new filter and gas line and bulb runs like new to 1/2 throttle beyond that it just bogs down.filter is still full of gas and pumping the ball makes no diff? any ideas? out of gear it will rev hi easy.

Sounds as if the fuel system needs attention. I would not use seafoam in this case.

Has anyone checked the throttle linkage to see if it getting full throttle?

yes it will run full throttle once in a while for about 15 sec then slow to 1/2 Has anyone checked the throttle linkage to see if it getting full throttle?
