So I hit the lake with my daughters Sunday and hit all my normal spots and caught a ton of small cats, 8 inches or less... well the kids did, my hook was too large.. they just stole my bait. I fished just south of the islands around the corner from Twin Points. The water temp was 88 degrees... while I realize the bigger fish probably go deep, I have no idea how to go about finding them.... any tips would be helpful...I am NOT great at reading a graph, probably my first issue.. I have a Lowrance hook 3 I think...

Fishing on bottom? I see a lot of people on here saying they are fishing 5 feet off bottom for example... I guess I probably need a class on reading my graph.. I have watched a million youtube videos, but still don't know what I am doing
