Might get to stay at a lake house with a dock and keep my boat there over the weekend. So what's the report on bass and crappies?

I fished Sunday morning from daylight till 11am. Fishing was awful for me... couldn't get them to play in less than 20ft of water and even then only managed a couple of dink largemouth. I fished cranks, football jigs, shakey head, flick shake, swimbait, and Texas rig on everything from the dam to points to creeks... only thing I didn't fish were deeper brush piles because there was a boat on every one I know of.

There are a few in McPhereson Slough, beyond that its pretty much floating slips in the marinas... not very many docks on the Vine. Keep an eye on your electronics, lots of brush piles in those marinas too.
