Has anyone tried the big boss oil less fryer? I believe they sale them at Walmart, you don't use oil to fry fish.

Yes I have and I didn't care for it for fish. Comes out chewy not crispy.

Just bought the AirFryer XL a month ago. Haven't done fish in it yet, but I've been watching a bunch of Youtube vids of others doing it. You actually use a little bit of oil, but only a teaspoon or a bit of cooking spray.

SoonerDG, you'll probably have to experiment a couple times to get it how you like it. I figure on messing up a few during the learning curve.

These air fryers are basically a small convection oven. Just a heating element and a fan.

The two batches that I have seen cooked out of 2 different models looked liked fish fried in oil that sat around for an hour.

The meat was done and moist, but the breading was not crisp and dry.

An oil less fryer to fry fish sounds like a terrible idea but I'm kinda mule headed in my ways according to my other half!!! roflmao
