Excellent, Floon!
That KVD with his power fishing reputation can do other things, and do them well, makes him very tough to beat.
Note the reference to using 6 lbs. test in some circumstances. He's confirming the trend toward mixing in finesse fishing techniques . . . if you want to win tournaments.
I need to find video of him spy baiting as I believe he mixed that into the equation at this tournament or another recently. I'd like to know what he recommends.

His spy baits were unnamed. So either they were SK prototypes or another brand. If you can find the "Live" archive for the final day when it was cloudy and windy, he was spy baiting quite a bit. Slow, steady retrieve. At one point, there was a split screen view of he and Ehrler while both were spy baiting. Their rod positions and retrieve speed looked identical, which I thought was pretty cool.

Brad Not sure using finesse for the sake of using finesse is a trend in tournaments. Sounds more like he adapted to the situation.

I bet the dude could kill it with a fly rod, as well. He's obviously got an understanding of drag-free drift in current that most of those guys on the tour have probably never really even thought about.
His skillset continues to impress the heck out of me. He's the man for sure.
