What Part of Sam Rayburn is the "Brickyard"?

Was reading some FLW tournament coverage on Rayburn and the "brickyard" was mentioned. I know where the Deer Stand and the Canyons are...but had not heard this one before.

Thanks.

If I knew buddy I'd tell you. I started fishing Rayburn the year it opened and never heard of an area called the "brickyard". As you can see some folks will pull your leg a little on here. Best way to find out if you're really wanting to know and you're local is stop by the tackle shop there and maybe one of those guys would know.

This is true. I wouldn't lead you wrong. There is an area called the "Brickyard". It is mystical, magic and the lake record possibly lives there. The first person that ask me to Map the 20 best spots on Sam Rayburn got the spot. None of the other customers have it. Sorry it is not named on the map like many other good spots such as Sawmill, Black Forest and Five Fingers.

Each person you work with holds some promise to your future success.

Like I said, stop by the Tackle Monkey there in Brookeland and talk to the owner. Real nice guy and he can probably tell you what you need to know. If I knew I'd help you but really don't know of an area like that. Hope you get your answer.
