If anybody around the Austin/San Antonio area ever has an open backseat just for fun fishing I would be interested. I can provide whatever you need to make it worth your time. I am an avid fishman but don't have a boat. I want to start finding tournaments that allow co anglers next year but would like to fish off the back of the boat between now and then. Best case scenario someone finds a tournament partner in me. But for now I'd like a "mentor" for boating, bass fishing, tournament fishing, etc.
Thanks

How old are you? Do you smoke, drink or do drugs?

How old are you? Do you smoke, drink or do drugs? Because drug users will actually admit it on an open forum, not saying its not a valid question. Just saying.

You can easily find a partner to fish with on Keep Austin Fishing on FaceBook. That is, if you're not already on there.

Lol, I want to see how honest he is.
Once had a guy fishing in the back of my boat, every time I turned around he'd also turn around. Dude was smoking dope!

If you have any weekdays off feel free to send me a pm.
I would also look into a bass club, most are helpful at finding you a back seat when possible. There are several in the area.

There's a Thursday night tournament at Canyon lake, some of those guys might could use a back seater. Facebook "Thursday nighters".

There's a Thursday night tournament at Canyon lake, some of those guys might could use a back seater. Facebook "Thursday nighters". There's only one of these tournaments left for the year. But nonetheless, there are always guys looking for a partner.

How old are you? Do you smoke, drink or do drugs? 26. I don't smoke. I don't do drugs. And crazy as it sounds, I don't hardly drink. When I do it's a random mix drink and even then it's been a couple months since that happened. Maybe I'm too boring for some of you guys.

There's a Thursday night tournament at Canyon lake, some of those guys might could use a back seater. Facebook "Thursday nighters". I have looked into that on TTZ Forum but didn't have much luck. I think people want someone with "experience" when it comes to tournaments. So I'm just looking for someone out of the tournament element and see where it goes from there. Build my resume.

The TTZ is a different group, they would be more serious. The Thursday nighters are different with a way smaller jackpot. You can get info from Boerne Marine, but if there's just 1 left in the season it might not be worth it.
As far as not smoking & drinking, that's a good thing. Nobody wants a guy burning holes in his carpet from the ashes and nobody wants to babysit a drunk lush the night of a tournament.
Edit: I guess I was wrong about the ttz and the Thursday nighters. I thought it was a local thing, sorry.
