Ok so i'm going to South Padre Aug 8-11 and want to catch some fish. I know conditions really setermine everything ,but the Jetty is sounding really intriguing to catch a Tarpon. Really I was originally just gping to wadefish in the bay with artificial but am changing my mind. ALL TIPS WILL BE MUCH APPRECIATED THANKS!!!

Tarpon have been on fire in the surf. Planning on running out there this week.

From the jetties I would say you need some big Rat l Traps and some patience ... hope you smack 'em.
