Anyone like to go late at night for bass? I've been leaving around 2-3AM and doing pretty well. Looking for someone to go with during the week. Just not as fun going alone and not as safe.

Are you hitting Lake Lewisville? I note your Corinth address. I know there is a group who share a slip, with no boat, at Pier 121 for the sole purpose of crappie fishing. I think they fish nights and sort of rotate times. That might be a good area to fish but not certain.

Lots of lights, travel in a pack, at least two I'd think.

Get some 3M reflective tape too and put it on your yak, paddle and life vest.

I fish all the time at night during the week to avoid ALL boat traffic and weekend warriors. I have lights all around on my yak and I have reflective tape all around as well. I have a great sonar/GPS to get around and carry a flood spot light to light up specific areas. No need to worry as night fishing is like fishing during the day. Only thing is you cannot see as well. But the fish do bite at night!! I mainly fish for crappie under or near lights. My lights on my kayak draw in bait fish and draw in the crappie at times. Other times I drop a light int he water.
On Conroe, you can fish the underwater green lights and catch some really nice bass! Non stop action at times.
