 the HPDI finally gave out

I have an 05 HPDI225 that finally blew its powerhead, decided im going to get it rebuilt as it is considerably cheaper than repowering to a SHO. My first instinct is HydroTec, and they are what i have heard the most. Should i even consider anyone else for a rebuild?

Just curious, how many hours did you have on it before it blew? Did it have the Series 2 updates?

Just curious, how many hours did you have on it before it blew? Did it have the Series 2 updates? Last hours reading was 2 years ago at 457, i assume i have put between 40-60 on it in the last 2 years... maybe more so right around 500hrs. As far as series 2 update i am unsure, when i boat it the boat was already on its second owner but he mentioned work had been done on the motor to help prevent issues they were known to have
