Hello TFF!

From yall's experience Which color LED's are best?

Specifically which one is the best for attracting FISH... NOT BUGS?

I have a small boat but was gunna do "Cool WHITE" on the inside and "Green" on the exterior...

Is there a good company that sells and installs? Or is it best to do it yourself?

Any pictures of set ups would be much appreciated

God Bless-Justin

Whatever color you put inside, make sure you have a dimmer switch on it. You can thank me later.

I night hunt a lot and it has taught me that red draws bugs far less than white. And agree with the dimmer.

I have blue LEDs for deck lighting. Still some bugs. Submersible green lights for attracting fish. As to dimming, get the LED strips that you can cut to tailor to your needs. I used black electrical tape to block any light from shooting up. The tape matches the base and only the deck carpet is illuminated.

There are more than one type of LED strips. Some have more or less lights per inch and are brighter or dimmer than others. Unfortunately, the ones packaged by companies for boat decorations just offer one type. There are better and cheaper sources out there where you can get the type that you need instead of paying more for the brighter strips and then needing dimmers.

Either of these will work. When you buy one, make sure it's for an LED light. A regular dimmer from an auto parts store will not work.

I have blue LED lights on my deck. They do attract a few bugs but nothing like the one white light I have.

no boat but red is supposed to be a much better color to avoid attracting insects.
