Dannie Golden and I were fishing on Ray Roberts yesterday morning when he snagged something. Drug it up to the boat and low and behold an old Zebco rod and reel. He actually caught it by one of the rod eyes! What are the chances of that!

It was encrusted with zebra mussels everywhere. I had never seen a zebra mussel up close so I snapped a few photos to share with others that might also be curious.

How was the fishing? And has Danny had his surgery on his elbow yet?

It was a great morning. Nothing big, but Dannie had us on fish almost all morning long. He is going under the knife really soon for his elbow he said.
