hello im a new member and would lilke to know if anyone has any info on the bass bite on belton I will be going there in august and have never been there before thank you for any info

Pick a different lake. Belton is very stingy with its bass.
I love Belton, to me it's the easiest to navigate around,
but there is not much vegetation, and it is very deep.
Best luck I have had is flipping the houseboats/docks, and a
few of the points.

Also, do a search on here, there has been other inquiries about Belton.

Well I thank you all for your input, I fish lake Conroe pretty regular just wanting to branch out on other lakes

The best smallmouth lake in the state right now and has been for a few years. Go at night in the summer and fall and focus on points and rocks. Check your line often for nicks, lots of zeebs.
