Is it just me, or has it been a slow year for big bass? My social media feeds are usually full of giant bass from all over the globe. This year I think I've seen one or two 15's and maybe a handful of 13's. Seems like a lull.

I've seen pics of a lot of 5-8lbers but not many over 10 this year as well. Could be a lull as you know with everyone having phones pics would be taken!

there was an 11.90 caught last night in a jackpot tourney. They are being caught....just keeping it on the down low.

I'm going with, people are learning to keep their big bass pics to themselves!

Seems like a normal year big fish wise. I think overall the fishing has been better across the board this year.

Lots of big fish caught this year even with higher water levels.

I'm not aware of anything over 16 that's been caught this year anywhere. Last year there were a couple 16's, an 18, and at least one 19 out of CA. Very few sharelunkers this year as well. I haven't done a tally recently, but I think TBend lunker program numbers are way down. Lots of big fish are caught every year and go un-reported, so I think that's normal. The biggest fish though, they tend to be tough secrets to keep. Sure haven't seen many this year.
