 Where to launch at Tawakoni

I was wondering if anyone knew a safe place where I could launch around Hawks cove? I've launched from the park near Holiday Marina and it's great if you're fishing around the dam. I've also launched from Tawakoni State Park and there's decent fishing there. But it's such a long paddle to get to the cove. Was wondering if there was some place closer

Anyone heard of 429 Marina & resort? Has anyone stayed there that can give an honest opinion about the place? I'd like to fish some Crappie around that area, seems like a perfect place to launch and it's very close to Hawks cove.
