Already contacted Shut Up, but any pointers on best way to mount if I do it myself. Thx. The directions included are pretty sufficient. Only thing I'd add, is the strap that comes with it to secure the shaft during transport.....mount it so the "ring" is within an in or so of the bow. I mounted mine where it is closer to the shaft and when I get in rough water or high winds, it will flip up and into the trolling motor "arms". Then when I go to deploy, the arms are almost cutting the strap like scissors. I still forget to check for it each time and it's too late to loosen and readjust the strap. So, it's only a matter of time before the strap is cut.
Eat. Sleep. Fish.
