Trip today with Norman and his girlfriend was a really good trip. Forecast was for it to be sunny and super hot. We had wind, clouds, some rain and much cooler temps this morning. The lake traffic was also very low for the day before a major holiday. They took full advantage of the nice weather and really enjoyed the lake. The blue cats on Lewisville however wore those two smooth out today. They had big fish after big fish. Ended up with 30 blue cats in the cooler. Had to release a 32" fish that was the second fish of the morning. Also had a 28" and several other fish over 24". Even had 2 nice hybrids with the bigger hybrid being 21". That cooler was pretty heavy when we hit the dock today. They love catfish and left with 3 gallons of fillets.
