Blanco State Park has a kayak launch spot between it's dams (make a left after you enter the park and it is on the right). I've fished there a few times when they stock trout during the colder months and had fun catching small trout. Looks like it should be loaded with bass, but the water is usually very clear. I've been told green pumkin soft plastics are good for large mouth. I've not discovered other good launch spots along the Blanco river. Almost all the land is privately owned.

I'd rather be fishing...

Thank you for the feedback.

Is it a nice paddle? Pretty setting and such?
