 schooling largemouth at Fork?

why don't the largemouth school at Fork like they did 5-10 (and beyond) years ago? I very rarely see them now, and when I do, it's usually just one or two. in the old days, I can remember big schools with big bass just tearing the water up. seems like when the sand bass really started showing up in the lake, that it changed the largemouth's habits.
or am I just not fishing in the wrong places???
