In the case this is the wrong place for this my apologies. Family is taking a trip up to the broken bow area and I have attempted to do some research on the fishing up there, both river and lake. All I can really find out about the species in the waters is trout. walleye and bass. Does anyone know if their are any catfish around there? Or have had any luck in a particular spot? We wont have a boat so fishing off the land at the lake and maybe a canoe on the rivers. Any help or tips is appreciated!!

There is catfish in both the river and lake, probably not many in the river where you would likely fish though. They will be farther down the river where it is warmer. Lake has lots of catfish but not a lot of good places that you can have good odds of catching one. If I was going to try to catch one on the lake from the bank, I would park at the Lakeview lodge and walk down to the water behind the swing sets and fish around the logs that are pushed in the water.
