 Old pulley steer to steering cable conversion

I have a 1975 johnson that was made for pulley steering and want to convert it to steering cable. Does anyone know how to do this? or have any info on the parts needed? or if its even possible?

i don't know what all you will need, but i have a steering cable from a 17' boat you can have.
