Looking for a good 7' MH Fast tip casting rod. and seen some good reviews on the ST. Croix Avid X series. Can you guys give me some reviews. Anybody have any problem with them.

My dad runs Falcon Low rider and loves them. just looking outside the box. thanks!

I have used the Avid St. Croix rods for over 25 years and NONE of them have given me a problem. BUILT in America and VERY good rods, for my .02. Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

Switched off to Dobyns now and will only use those 2 for me.

I'll give you my opinion on that rod next week. It's coming to me from St Croix right now.

I had a Mojo Bass that I stepped on and sent back. I ended up upgrading to the 7' MH fast Avid X. Should be here Friday, I hope!

The Mojo Bass was a 7' med fast, and it really didn't have enough backbone for what I wanted. I'm really hoping the Avid X will be what I'm looking for.
