Had planned to fish Lewisville this morning but thunder storms and rain killed that plan.
Rick called me at noon and talked me into trying in the afternoon. Cloudy, cool and a fair amount of north wind made it iffy but we went anyway. GOOD DECISION.
We fished from 1:00 PM until 6:30 and caught fish steadily the whole time. Total fish caught 250+ with over 50 keepers. (All were released)
We didn't do anything different. The big fish just turned on. We used 1/8 oz jig heads with #2 hooks to hold larger baits. 3" for the most part.
Fish were on brushpiles in 18'-24' deep water and on submerged standing trees.
Summer pattern setting in and should be a lot of fum. GREAT DAY.

Yep, I made it to the east side eventually to do a little fishing and I hammered them on about the same pattern. David caught a pic of the first crappie to be caught off BN 2.0. (Off the pole at Queen Ann's)

Guy and I fished between rain storms this morning. We only caught about 40 fish but almost half were nice keepers. Bigger fish are finally showing up.
