Tobin, with www.troutsupport.com, emailed me and said he was on his way to Port O'Conner and he wanted to drop by.He dropped off his Video's and a few of his soft plastics. We had a brief chat and he was on his way. Have a safe trip Tobin...Earlier we discussed something I do with Soft Plastics, a 10 CC Syringe, it's 14 ga.needle, and 100% Menhaden (Shad) Oil. I inject the shad oil into the soft plastics. I also poke holes into them, add some oil into a Zip Lock, and let marinate. The fish usually hold onto the baits better when they taste the shad oil. There are other flavored oils out there as well..... You can create an Oil Slick if you want....Get yourself a Saline Drip Ringer full of Oil and set to drip for a while. CHUM is something else you can play with. I get a box of Small Elbow Macaroni,let it soak in the Oil until it swells no more,then toss some into the water now and then. It's about time to wrap this up for tonight. Got my Nightly Meds to take including my pain pills. Keep an Eye to Sky if you plan to go out tomorrow.
