Are there any good spots for whites, stripers, hybrids close to San Antonio? I don't see much about canyon but I know they are there. I am getting transferred for work and will miss the easy commute to Livingston.

Canyon is def your best bet for whites and Stripers.. I've don't really well out there.. It's a tough lake lake to fish during the summer with warming water and high boater traffic.. calaveras and braunig both have hybrids stocked in them as well.

Canyon is great for both whites and stripers. Best times to fish Canyon are during the fall, winter, and spring. During the summer I have done well fishing under the lights on the Guadalupe just above the main lake. I usually do not fish the weekends.

Hey Steven, haven't seen any reports from you in quite a while. Are you still fishing Canyon or waiting until the fall when the boat traffic subsides?
