Was using big game as a leader material and it was getting shredded up, attributed this to zebra mussels.
Switched to copolymer and experienced the same thing.
Tried Seagar invizx and have had good luck so far with it.
I was wondering if there happens to be a better choice for abrasion resistance without getting to stiff?
Thanks......

I've been using subline fluro and it seems anything less than 18lb will nick pretty easily. 18, 20 & 25 have been really good about not abrading. We don't have zebra mussels though.

Really big game is probably more resistant then floro. But I use abrazx, you are still going to have to retie often but you will not loose as many on the hook set

Seaguar claims 2X the abrasion resistance with Abrazx "COMPARED TO LEADING COMPETITIVE FLUOROCARBON LINE" so I am supposing they concocted some sort of fair test to run lines over something like sandpaper and see how each stood up to it.

The "leading competitive fluorocarbon" is not named. But, this would be the "no brainer" choice where one buys a line specifically formulated for a targeted purpose, and from a top notch manufacturer with an industry-leading reputation.

I'd use Abrazx over Tatsu. Tatsu is likely the best of all fluorocarbons on the market but it has other qualities and it isn't designed just for abrasion issues. And, it is soooooo expensive!

Tatsu is the best I've used.

Depending on what lb test leader your looking for.
Gamma Touch is unbelievably strong and abrasive resistance for the lb test.
I use 8lb to a 10lb power pro main line or dropshot and shakey heads.
I've started using 30lb power pro to 12lb Gamma Edge for skipping jigs and such around docks, so far so good.
