This is my 1st time tying on a minna head & on top of that it's a tiny #8 hook.... Any tips to make these look better would for sure help....

Looks good to me..... some guys use red thread to make it look like gills flared, but those sure outta work.

They look nice. I prefer some chenille around the body to add bulk and make it taper to the tail instead of just having a big headed minnow. That being said, the crappie will surely eat those. Thank you for posting your work.

Yep, white with red thread body is a good combo too, but those are some nice jigs too Killer. They have worked for me in the past.

Not sure what your painting them with that is a flat color, but some Clear Vinyl with take care of that and make the finish look deeper. Also I am one that uses Red Thread on any thread neck jig I tie.
Still the tie itself looks fine and should work just like it is suppose to!
