You should have gotten the Tatula SV TW and not worry about backlashing. Maybe next time.

The inception is just as good as the concepts just different bearings and materials and the drag is 18lbs instead of 22. But inceptions cast just as far as a 500$ shimano or anything else

Everything we do in adjusting a reel to reduce backlash is adding resistance to the spool that would otherwise spin very very freely.

An angler accustomed to a lesser reel often has to tighten down anti-backlash adjustments when moving up to a good reel so that they can get used to the superior free-spin of the better reel. I would venture that incorrect adjustment of settings is the #1 cause of angler's slamming a reel model generally accepted to have good quality - when it's really user error. I also vote that the issue is adjustments....

A BIG +!!

I bought a 13 fishing Concept A. I have to say I have only fished with this reel 1 time but it was the best I have ever used. I had crazy high expectations as my last reel was a Shimano 100mg that was phenomenal and cost 350bucks not including all the other major brands I have tried. This reel performed flawlessly. I only back lashed 1 time while I was dialing it in. After that it cast further than any other reel I have ever seen. I was throwing baits with ease 40 to 50 plus yards with a top water frog. I threw a 1/4oz swim jig 40 yards. On top of that I caught 2 beautiful bass. One was right at 4 pounds and the other was between 6-7 pounds. The reel was so smooth and handled both fish like it was no big deal. If that was not enough this may be the most comfortable reel I have ever held for my hands. If this reel hold up well I will definetley be purchasinmg a lot more. Lastly I owe you a big THANK YOU!!!!!!, like you said.
