Hey guys I haven't been up to the Brazos in awhile, has anybody gone up to chase stripers or whites below the dam?

I wouldn't waste your time. I was up there last weekend and only managed two baby stripers. Even after the water releases last week, the stripers just don't seem to be in the river.

Sounds like that little phenomenon is over? Wonder what the water temp is there these days?

Fished there the last two days. Thursday night started fishing around 6 pm and my third cast in I caught a 12" rainbow. Hooked up with another about 10 minutes later but couldn't close the deal. Ran into a guy later that evening when I was leaving who was fishing just down from me and he said he caught a couple bows as well. They're still there and feeding!!! Although I doubt for much longer, river was 73 degrees, I was shocked. Fished again last night in the same spot and only caught several bass and blue gill.
