In yak I would fish light so I would take a spin rod with a 3/16oz maribou jig in white, olive and black. My baitcaster would be Texas rigged craw in pumpkin, watermelon and black/blue. If I found some deep holes would throw a sassy shad or cane thumper.

1) Need a top water bait like a Zara Spook or Pencil Popper for early morning Stripers.
2) Swim bait for Largemouth Bass in the middle of the water column.
3) Crayfish colored weedless jig or crawdad soft bait for the bottom of the water column. Can also use a plastic lizard.
4) Top water frog. I like the Ribbit Frog with the paddle legs. It makes a good gurgling sound.

Senkos in a medium green have always worked for me. Craw worms in natural color 3" is what my wife used to wipe the floor with them a month ago. 2" square bills a killer as well....

Strip, strip....set
