I've been looking for a used Boat for over year and only have about 6000 to 8000 to spend. I see a lot of 16 to 18 foot boats in my price range but they are still 20-year-old boats and 20 yr old motors.
How confident would you be buying a 20 yr old rig and spending that much money ,is this a wise investment? Also how many hours is the average 115 to 150 good for ?
Lastly if the compression is good and it runs should I buy.
Thanks guys

I inow where an older Gambler is with a pretty fresh 150 (I think)Merc is that is in that price range. Not mine. If interested let me know & we can get in touch. It's definitely a doable thing to find an older boat thats worth the money as long as you DONT rush & look at one thoroughly. $6-8K aint chicken scratch either. Its STILL hard earned money.
