Well, the 36hr partyboat trip I was going to take was cancelled for weather. Would really like to get a tuna trip done in June, but all the partyboats have their schedules filled up with 12 & 24 hour red snapper trips ... not that I blame them, but it sucks for me.

Looks like a typical Venice tuna charter is about $2,100 to $2,400 for up to six people (plus tips, lodging, food, etc). Anyone willing to split expenses and travel on such a trip in mid-June?

Try posting on 360 tuna. I am sure some guys will pitch in. I am on capt John in July but New Buccaneer is also going to run some July trips.

... and I just had to buy a bunch of new appliances for the rental house. SO much for spare money to go tuna fishing this month.

AH well, will have to wait till October during the new "fall break" that the school has scheduled.
