I have found the "on sale" steaks to be a bit chewy.

If you are anywhere close to an HEB, they have prime T-Bones on sale for $8.99/lb.

If not, then Costco sells great beef. Choice cuts always at a good price and they also have prime cuts as well.

I have seen you post that before, I have had good success with the $4.99 from Kroger/Tom Thumb, but I also scan the choices and pick out the cuts I like.

It's hard to pass up the $4.99 Rib eyes on sale at Kroger/Tom Thumb, but the quality at Costco is worth it

Thanks, I will check Costco out.

If you could talk to my wife and daughters and try to convince them, that would be terrific. I've been trying for 43 years with no success.

The 19.99 Prime seem to only available on weekends, They usually put out the big cases with king crab legs and monster lobster tails.

The $10.99 are available daily.

Try the lamb chops that are all together with the rib bones exposed, Very good, I just splash Dejon mustard on them and grill, or just some garlic salt. They run about $11 to $16 per pack, well worth it if you like lamb.

Looks very good, I would replace the farmed shrimp with USA wild caught, which once you find wild shrimp you will never eat farm shrimp again.

Love lamb, we tend to do the thick cut loin chops. Since you mentioned it that may be dinner Sat.

Market street has some good meat. Just bought some good looking rib eyes for my wife's birthday dinner.

My wife worked the meat counter at Albertsons. She can pick a good steak at any store. May not be the prettiest, but it will be the most tender.

For the men, have a butcher cut some thick choice ribeyes and reverse sear to medium. For the women, have a butcher cut some thin sirloin steaks, marinate in some balsamic vinegar and cook well. No need to get all complicated.

I bought one a couple of months ago. Now I have to sous vide everything before I grill it. bang It just takes all the fun out of it and greatly decreases my quality beer/grill time.
