Hey guys. I was wondering how yall store rubber skirts without them melting everything. I remember growing up as a kid some of our old tackle boxes having some old jigs melted to the box. Since silicone became so prevalent, it hasn't been a problem lately. But with rubber coming back, how do yall store them so they don't melt everything? Thanks.

Dry them good then store them in bag with baby powder. It keeps the individual rubber legs separated and lively.

I use a lot of scent on my Living Rubber Skirts. Always remove Plastic Trailer after fishing, immediately.
- Light Dawn Dish Soap in a bowl for a few mins. to take off excess oils.
- Rinse in warm water.
- Let dry over night.
- Baby Powder lightly.
- Store in air tight zip-Binder.

Thanks guys. Donald, is there a particular brand of scent that is safer for the skirts? And what kind zip binder? Like the worm binders from Academy?

My scent is really bad on them and during the day I keep it dripping. They get washed when I get home then put away.

I used the Browning Spinner Bait 4 pocket zip pages. They are no longer for sale, so you can use any of the worm binder pages. I would drop each jig or spinner bait in it's individual 4 mil. thickness bag then put them in the large pocket of the worm binder; just because there is so much air space in a worm binder.

I really thank each jig would be just fine in the 4 or 6 mil. bag you can get like a 100 for the 3 X 3 inch of $9. Then store them in you JIG BOX.
